DHAKA, Dec 5, 2021 (BSS)-Nagad, the mobile fiscal service of the Bangladesh Post Office has come the mate of Dhaka University's centenary festivity.
As part of the festivity, wristbands were given as gifts to every pupil of the university at a function at the Senate structure this morning. Nagad's Managing Director Tanvir A Mishuk handed over the wristbands to ProfDr.Md.Akhtaruzzaman, the vice-chancellor of the university.President and Chancellor of the university Md. Abdul Hamid inaugurated the four- day various event with the theme" Dhaka University in the Light of Centenary" on December 1.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman said, "On the occasion of the 100th anniversary, we requested Nagad to embellish the lot by maintaining our academic canons. They've tried unfeignedly to do it which is applaudable. Nagad also showed how to embellish the lot with an academic flavor in an innovative way. Thanks to Nagad. I hope that in the future, Nagad will be involved in colorful conditioning of Dhaka University."
On the occasion, the executive structure of the university, the Preceptors Scholars Centre, pupil dormitories, and colorful other installations have been decorated with one hundred times of honorary print- wall. Curzon Hall, the Trades Building, and Malchattar of the lot have been decorated in colorful colors.
The university, which started its trip in 1921, completed 100 times on July 1 this time. Still, because of the COVID-19 epidemic, the centenary fests were remitted. After perfecting the situation, the university authorities are now celebrating colorful programs from December 1 to 16.
On the occasion of the centenary of the university and the Digital Bangladesh Day, Nagad is going to organize a musical at the central playground of the university on December 12. Nagar Baul James, Warfaze, Sahajia, Meghdol, KrishnaPaksha, Introit, Tirandaj, and Mehreen will perform in the musicale.
Meanwhile, fireworks and ray shows are being organized at the central playground of the university on the occasion of the golden festival of independence on December 16. It'll highlight the workshop of Bangabandhu and the noble part of the University of Dhaka played during the Liberation War and colorful other movements of the Country. Nagad is also directly involved in the event.
Speaking on the centenary of the University and the golden festival of independence, Tanvir A Mishuk, co-founder and managing director of Nagad, said
